Is a pet still available?
Our adoptable pet pages are updated when new animals are available and within minutes of their adoption. We encourage you to visit during our open hours to meet the pet(s) you are interested in!
I found a stray, can I bring it to Five Acres?
Five Acres does not accept stray pets. If you have found a stray animal, please contact your town/city Animal Control Department.
I put in an adoption application, what next?
All of our adoptions are first-come/first-served. If you filled out an online adoption application for a specific animal, we encourage you to visit during our open hours to meet that animal. Applications do not place an animal on "hold" - but does speed up the process if you visit and decide to adopt.
My pet needs medical care, can I bring it to Five Acres?
Currently our medical offerings are spay and neuter services, as well as monthly vaccine and microchip clinics.
